5 Facts ‍About Me

Hi there,

Here’s a snapshot of my journey, shared in semi-chronological order.

1. I’m the eldest son of my mother and a proud brother. I was born and raised in Lakshmipur, Bangladesh. My childhood was full of curiosity and imagination. Even back then, I felt like I had wings and wanted to fly dreaming of building something of my own one day. From an early age, I knew I didn’t want a traditional 9-to-5 job. I wanted to create, lead, and build a company.

2. In 2016, while I was in college, I discovered my interest in web development. I initially tried to get into the Computer Science and Technology department, but couldn’t secure a spot. Instead, I was admitted to Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University in the Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering department. By my 2nd year, I realized this field wasn’t aligned with my passion. My interest in web development only grew stronger. I completed my university degree just for a certificate. I dedicated most of my time to learning and practicing web development. So, my 4-year degree took 5 and a half years to complete. During my viva, one of my professors asked what I wanted to be in life and without hesitation, I said I wanted to become a full-time web developer and build my own agency.

3.  I officially started my freelancing journey in 2020. In the beginning, I worked on front-end development, WordPress customization, and even content writing. I had big ambitions and wanted to master everything at once. However, reality taught me an important lesson: to grow, I needed focus. In 2021, I decided to specialize in a single stack. After research and experience, I chose Shopify as my core industry. From that point on, I fully committed myself to Shopify development. Over time, I had the opportunity to work with well-known brands such as Landmark Athletics, Mezam, Bob Marlin Gear, Maitha, Treats, and more.

4.  After spending 3 years working as a freelancer, I realized I needed a team to scale and deliver even better results. That’s why I built my agency, Ecomfame. Through Ecomfame, we help Shopify businesses grow by offering complete solutions from development to marketing, all under one roof.

4. In Bangladesh, there are very few quality resources for learning Shopify theme development. I felt that gap deeply. So in November last year, I took a small step that meant a lot to me: I started a free live Shopify theme development course. 49 people joined, and watching them learn, grow, and gain confidence was incredibly fulfilling. Teaching reminded me that knowledge becomes more powerful when it’s shared. I truly believe that growing together is the most meaningful way to grow.

5. Beyond my professional life, I have a creative side. I wrote my first poem in class six, a 56-line poem about love. Since then, I’ve written more than 40 poems. I love travelling, writing, and exploring life in all its forms. These passions keep me inspired, grounded, and constantly learning.
